I stumbled across a few of these ideas when I was trying to make a Happy Father's Day card for Scott last year. I didn't get very far into making anything like the pictures below because, as it turns out, 8 month olds are not so good at sitting still and doing hand prints.
We will definitely try again this year. Here are my favorites right now. As we get closer to the big father appreciation day I bet I will have a whole new batch of favorites.
It would be pretty awesome to put little cutouts on the ship. Maybe a mini Columbus!
You could make a whole hand print zoo or jungle!
This one is super frame-able! I would hang this grey buddy anywhere in my house!
Excellent work! That is a one friendly-looking giraffe!
Sebastian is looking for his buddy, Ariel!
Animal sounds, hand prints, construction paper! I like what I'm seeing!
Keepin' it classy! Everyone in your family could do a hand print on the tree and make it a family tree!
Those crazy birds!
Awesome!
Fish print. People are clever.
A whole lot of hands on this peacock. If we tried this one there would be hand prints covering the entire page and probably a few on the table.
I love the hand print grouping here! Very fun!
Wednesday's Weekly Would You Rather Question:

or

I have missed commenting on your wonderful blog entries, there were just too many to catch up on....while I was in Hawai'i!!
ReplyDeleteI have read them all now and understand why there was not one yesterday. I can believe that it was hard work putting out a blog everyday and I will miss them.
I'm sure if you look thru all those school papers and art work I gave you from your pre-K days up to HS you will find some hand print art work. I'm sure there was a turkey hand print for Thanksgiving. I sitll have 2 plaster of paris hand prints belonging to you and Kelly.
Do I have to answer the WYR??
yes, you do have to answer the WYR (please!).
